“I don’t think that a song can solve the fundamental problem, but if we can feel our hearts beating together through music, I believe it is a first step,” composer Kim Hyung-suk commented on the new unification song he helped create that will be performed on October 9th for the One K concert under the One Dream One Korea initiative. The song, “One Dream, One Korea” is a collaboration between Kim Hyung-suk and lyricist, Kim Ea-na, where director Kolleen Park, will direct the upcoming One K concert that will also involve numerous K-Pop artists such as Yangpa, Na Yoon Kwon, and EXO.
The song contains relatively simple chords and progressions so that any person may sing along. The official song and music video – which will feature Unification Minister Hong Yong-pyo will be released on September 15th. The One K concert that will take place on Oct 9th will be held at the World Cup Stadium in Seoul, Korea.
