The Global Peace Foundation Brazil and Pontifical Catholic University in Goiás, Brazil drew youth from Brazil, Paraguay, Indonesia, Malaysia, Luxemborg and the United States of America to commemorate the UN International Day of Peace on September 21.

The innovative program used new media technology to plug local students with international volunteers.

Local TV News Outlet PUC interviewed professors Danillo Alarcon and Aline Borghi after the event. Professor Borghi stressed the importance of international and intercultural exposure to help students learn critical skills like negotiating differences and seeking understanding.
