Educators, policymakers, and thought leaders explored the purpose and future of education in the Global South at the Transforming Education Initiative 2050 workshop hosted by Global Peace Foundation Kenya. Convening at Crawford International School in Nairobi on January 22–23 2025, the event focused on the long-term education landscape leading up to 2050, the impact of AI, and ongoing support of Oracle Academy in providing technology tools and professional development for Kenyan educators.

Dr. Tony Devine, PhD Ed., vice president of education at Global Peace Foundation International, provided a comprehensive view on the evolving priorities of education and the necessary transformations required to equip future generations with relevant skills and knowledge.
