Global Peace Women Leadership Academy
The international GPW Leadership Academy (GPWLA) launched in 2017 as a three-part leadership training and capacity-building program. These women leaders develop and implement unique community service projects as the capstone of the leadership practicum. In the process, they learn core values of leadership, identify personal strengths and skills like communication, budgeting, project management, and documentation.
GPWLA projects have tackled a range of local issues ranging from mitigating gender-based violence and cultivating financial resilience, strengthening girls’ access to education, and supporting mental health.
GPWLA has a network of 100 women leaders supported by GPWLA’s ongoing enrichment programs.
