Tomorrow Together 9/11 Day of Service

The Global Peace Foundation has joined Tomorrow Together, a coalition of faith, education, youth and service-related organizations headed by 9/11 Day, to encourage Americans to commemorate September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance in a display of national unity, service and prayer. More than 30 million Americans are expected to join the observance. Global Peace Foundation is promoting an 11-day service campaign starting on 9/11 to 9/21 the International Day of Peace. You can participate in many ways not only on 9/11 but on the days leading up to and following the day. Join a nearby project, host your own project, take a moment with your children or students to talk about the significance of the day and its implications on peace and cooperation.  Ways to ENGAGE Find a volunteer project near you at 911day.org/volunteer.
