International Women’s Day is celebrated every year on March 8 and has been around for over 100 years since 1911. It was officially recognized by the United Nations in 1977. International Women’s Day is a day for everyone! Together, we can make a determination to foster equality and a world where all people can thrive and contribute to peacebuilding in the family, community, and beyond.
