Recent crises in the Middle East and Eastern Europe are stark reminders of the many challenges facing our human family today. Now more than ever it is imperative to invest in consistent, concerted efforts to build peace. To facilitate broad participation and engagement in addressing such critical issues, GPC 2023 is utilizing a comprehensive and expanded format, providing space for fully virtual, hybrid, and in-person programs from November 1 through December 14, 2023, with culminating in-person programs in Manila, Philippines.
Interactive sessions, workshops, and discussions with international experts and professionals, which can be joined in-person or in our GPC-2023 virtual platform, will address key issue areas including: Freedom of Conscience & Religion, Peace & Security, Women’s Leadership & Peacebuilding, Community-Driven Peacebuilding, Transforming Education, Youth Volunteerism & Service Learning, Economic Development, and Environmental Conservation. Our programs are based on a comprehensive vision and showcase approaches, program models, and methodologies that provide innovative insights for peacebuilding that can be adapted for particular circumstances and scaled for impact.
