The European Interparliamentary Commission on Human Rights was established in 2018 at the Bundestag in Germany as a project of a working group on human rights and humanitarian aid. The commission is comprised of members of national parliaments across Europe, religious freedom experts, and international journalists. It has the status of a commission that puts forward initiatives and alternative concepts for resolving national and international conflicts. The Global Peace Foundation is happy to serve as a representative of the United States for this commission, through which it focuses on addressing religious freedom issues throughout Europe.
