In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Global Peace Foundation Nigeria is providing relief to communities in Kaduna State. As of July 2020, GPF Nigeria has donated food items to more than 200 school teachers in Kaduna who are suffering from a lack of salaries due to the lockdown. Essential food supplies are also being distributed to families who, besides enduring the pandemic, have also been displaced by extremist violence. The distributions have been conducted through the join volunteerism of both the Christian and Muslim communities in Kajuru.
