“Technology is one tool that we are using to strengthen characters of these entrepreneurs by allowing them to challenge themselves to seek more knowledge and expertise online thus giving them leverage to the information, access and content that the internet provides.”
Speaking at the innovators’ boot camp entitled ‘Raising Moral and Innovative Leaders for Economic Growth,’ Executive Director, Global Peace Foundation Kenya Daniel Juma challenged the youth to tackle challenges of their society using their creativity and the opportunities of technology.
The boot camp gathered over 60 students from area Leap Hubs, entreprenurial incubation centers at local high schools sponsored by the Global Peace Foundation and partners like the Chandaria Foundation, Aritel and Samsung, and encouraged educators, students and parents alike to raise moral and innovative leaders who can move the country forward.
