Mr. Koichi Hagiwara is a Senior Research Fellow of The Africa Society of Japan. He has worked in a rural city in Kenya as a Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) expert specializing in the promotion of minimum and small scale industries. He also served in the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) as an industrial development officer.
