Happy New Year!

As we welcome the New Year of 2025, I want to extend my heartfelt best wishes to you, as well as our sincere gratitude for the significant progress we are making together in building peace. Your steadfast support and the dedicated efforts of our Global Peace Foundation team and our partners around the world, have been instrumental to the consequential impact of our initiatives. We begin this new year with confidence and renewed determination to amplify and accelerate our collaborative efforts to solve problems and build peace.

Last year, we made significant strides. With your support, we launched the new Global Peace Leadership Corps, advanced Transforming Education initiatives in the Global South, drove groundbreaking cooperation agreements in Central America, and engaged thought leaders and peacebuilding practitioners from around the world at the Global Peace Leadership Conference Africa and International Forum on One Korea, among so much more. Together, our efforts have become a catalyst for peacebuilding that is uplifting the entire human family.

As one human family, we must rely on each other to rise above current global challenges. Still, our thoughts and prayers remain with those around the world who continue to suffer from war, conflict, and insecurity. Our moral responsibility to uplift and honor the dignity, fundamental rights, and well-being of all people is greater than ever. In 2025, let us commit ourselves anew to accelerating our efforts toward building “One Family Under God,” so that generations to come may experience a new era of freedom and peace.

Together, let us seize the opportunities this year brings and work with renewed vigor toward a more harmonious and peaceful world.
