Happy New Year!
I hope I am among the first to greet you this new year because we are grateful for your continued support in the past year. We have accomplished so much in peacebuilding thanks to the steadfast dedication of our Global Peace Foundation team with our partners and very generous supporters in every corner of the world. We are making plans for 2023 with confidence that our highly relevant initiatives are poised to make an even greater impact in the new year.
Since its founding in 2009, GPF has brought focus to the importance of universal principles and shared values in resolving conflict and forming the basis for sustainable peace. We organized programs that foster dialogue and engagement among communities and diverse people, working together with a common vision for the future based on time-honored ideals and values. Our work has steadfastly promoted moral and innovative leadership in all sectors, from international relations and government, education and development, to community building and family.
Given that the passion and energy of youth are essential to building a better future, it is crucial that we continue to develop partnerships and programs that promote experiential learning, cultivate leadership, and inspire and motivate young leaders to become peacebuilders. Investing in character and leadership development in our younger generation is vital for transforming communities, nations, and the world.
Whether we are organizing a Global Peace Leadership Conference in India, collaborating on International Religious Freedom programs from Latin America to Washington, D.C., or supporting and advancing civil society initiatives in Korea, our goal is to be a catalyst for peacebuilding that uplifts the human family.
“Peace on earth” is an age-old dream of conscientious people everywhere. Now more than ever, we have both the opportunity and moral imperative to affirm and honor the unique value, dignity, and fundamental rights of all people. Please join us in the great cause of making the vision of One Family under God a substantial reality.
