Rational: Africa has the highest concentration of youth on the planet, nearly 300 million of the 1.2 billion 15 to 24-year-olds in the world. Of this number, 75 million are looking for work. Studies have shown that engaging youth early on in volunteer work enhances employability. It has also been proven that volunteerism mitigates youth violence and reduces ethnic and religious tensions.

Activities: APSC offers youth opportunities of service, professional skills development, entrepreneurship and linkages to financial services and markets.
