“We were never different. Don’t forget that fact.”
With hopes for a “new era of peace,” North and South Korean leaders Moon Jae-in and Kim Jong-un stood outside the Peace House on the demilitarized zone (DMZ) border following a day of candid talks on denuclearization of the peninsula and a commitment to future talks on reunions for families divided by the 38th parallel.
A moving reminder of the Korea’s shared history and hope for peace, the One Dream One Korea song composed by Kim Hyung-suk was released on September 18, 2015 as part of The New Era of Unification Song Campaign organized by over one thousand civic Korean and international organizations, including Global Peace Foundation. Moon Jae-in himself participated in the music video.
