Colorfully Diverse

Achieving Millennium Development Goals by 2015 depends on all working in a culturally diverse environment confronting major development challenges. While working at the Human Rights Law Network, I enjoyed getting to know and work with people from different parts of the world. This helped me to better understand individual attributes, cultures and mannerisms, and professional work styles across the world. As we build our cultural awareness, we build bridges to trust, respect and understanding across cultures and foster productive exchanges and agreements

Currently, I am a proud member of the Global Peace Festival Foundation. Through this organization, I’ve learned that multiculturalism is based on the acceptance, respect, understanding and appreciation of different cultures in the community and at large.

Please post your thoughts and/or experiences on how diverse multicultural environments contribute to achieving Millennium Development Goals.
